About Us
At Nirmooha, the threads of heritage are rewoven into timeless modernity. Founded by Prreeti Jaiin Nainutia in 2016, the house redefines Indian craftsmanship through a contemporary lens, blending intricate embroideries with sculptural silhouettes to create a language of design that is both rooted and rebellious.
Each creation is more than fashion; it is a relic of craft. Hand-threaded cording, three-dimensional florals, and tactile embellishments are brought to life by master artisans across India, then reimagined into forms that resonate with a global audience. From couture gowns to everyday signatures, every garment becomes a dialogue between the timeless and the contemporary, the ritual and the avant-garde.
Unlike flat ornamentation, Nirmooha embraces raised, sculptural embroidery that lends garments depth and dimension. The house is celebrated for its mastery of corded embroidery, where bold cords are couched with delicate stitches to form striking outlines and architectural forms. Embellishment is placed with precision, transforming tradition into statement. Rebellious yet refined, Nirmooha’s embroidery style translates age-old Indian techniques into sculptural, story-driven expressions of modern luxury.
Nirmooha is not bound by seasons or trends. It is a house that celebrates craft as culture, champions sustainability as responsibility, and envisions luxury as an act of storytelling. With showcases spanning FDCI, Lakmé Fashion Week, and Paris Fashion Week, and campaigns that echo empowerment and community, Nirmooha stands for more than design-iit embodies the mythology of a modern India, written in fabric.
The opening of our flagship store in Kala Ghoda, Mumbai’s historic art and heritage district, marks not just a new address but a deeper commitmen o craft, to community, and to the stories we continue to tell through fabric, form, and mindful design.

Founder and Creative Director
Prreeti Jaiin Nainutia
Born in the spirited city of Meerut, Prreeti Jaiin Nainutia grew up with a love for design and an instinctive reverence for craftsmanship. Guided by a vision to reinterpret Indian heritage for the modern world, she founded Nirmooha on April 1, 2016-a Mumbai-based fashion house where tradition meets contemporary expression.
Since its inception, Prreeti has established Nirmooha as a voice of modern Indian luxury. With eleven showcases at FDCI and Lakmé Fashion Week, and a presentation at the Chivas Men’s Weekend in Jaipur, she introduced audiences to her bold signature: embroidery reimagined, silhouettes reborn, and heritage infused with rebellion. Her debut collection Rivayaat (2018) marked the beginning of this journey, while her international debut at Arab Fashion Week (2019) announced her arrival on the global stage. In 2025, Prreeti expanded Nirmooha’s international presence with her long-awaited debut at Paris Fashion Week. These milestones cemented her reputation as a designer who bridges India and the world-carrying the soul of her craft into the language of contemporary luxury.
Today, Prreeti Jaiin Nainutia stands not only as a designer but also as a storyteller, weaving myths, memories, and modernity into the house of Nirmooha.

Made In INDIA
At Nirmooha, every piece is proudly Made in India-crafted by local artisans whose skills have been passed down through generations. We work hand-in-hand with weavers, dyers, and embroiders to bring traditional techniques into modern forms. Supporting local craft isn’t a trend for us-it’s our foundation. Our collections are born from Indian soil, Indian stories, and Indian hands. This is fashion with roots, purpose, and pride.

Sustainable Practices
At Nirmooha, sustainability is not an afterthought-it is a responsibility we hold at every stage of creation. From sourcing fabrics mindfully to minimizing production waste, reusing textile remnants, and supporting local artisans and small-scale units over mass manufacturing, we consciously choose slower, more thoughtful paths. For us, sustainability extends beyond the final garment; it is about nurturing a system that honors people, the planet, and the process itself. We recognize that the journey is ongoing-each collection reflects our learning, our evolution, and our commitment to shaping the future we believe in.

Fashion with Conscience
At Nirmooha, ethics and empathy guide every step of our journey. We are committed to sourcing raw materials responsibly-working only with vendors and suppliers who align with our values of transparency, quality, and sustainability. From fabric mills to embroidery units, we ensure that the people behind our garments are treated with dignity, paid fair wages, and provided safe working conditions. Fashion, for us, must never come at the cost of human well-being. Every thread we use carries not just craft-but conscience.
